Sofia Schumacher Nicolson
Born in London (2003), I use drawing and painting to express on subjects and ideas taken from everyday life. Music, language, emotions, and travel are some of the key influences when composing the pieces.
Language is a key element across my work, the variety and dynamics of language being used to highlight different ideas or thoughts I’ve had. Music also plays an important role as it has an influence during my creative process and often on the composition of the pieces.
I enjoy using drawing or painting to create works inspired by my reflections throughout my day to day life, as well as by the world around me.
Original drawings
My original drawings are hand-signed, and shipped rolled in a tube for A2 sizes, and layed flat for the A4 sizes. It's best to lay out the A2 drawings out flat after arrival. All the drawings are made on fine art Canson Artists paper.
Original Paintings
My original paintings are hand-signed, and the paintings are packaged securely in a box and available for worldwide shipping. Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of the painting, as well as the intended destination.
