Sofia Schumacher Nicolson 

Born in London (2003), I use drawing and painting to express on subjects and ideas taken from everyday life. Music, language, emotions, and travel are some of the key influences when composing the pieces.
Language is a key element across my work, the variety and dynamics of language being used to highlight different ideas or thoughts I’ve had. Music also plays an important role as it has an influence during my creative process and often on the composition of the pieces. 
I enjoy using drawing or painting to create works inspired by my reflections throughout my day to day life, as well as by the world around me.

Original drawings

My original drawings are hand-signed, and shipped rolled in a tube for A2 sizes, and layed flat for the A4 sizes. It's best to lay out the A2 drawings out flat after arrival. All the drawings are made on fine art Canson Artists paper. 

Original Paintings 

My original paintings are hand-signed, and the paintings are packaged securely in a box and available for worldwide shipping. Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of the painting, as well as the intended destination.

Limited Edition Prints

I've always wanted art to be more accessible to the general public, which is why I've decided to provide limited edition prints as well as my original paintings and drawings.

The prints are created based on scans of my original paintings and drawings. The prints are then made on museum quality Hahnemüle German Etching paper, which has a slightly rough and textured surface similar to those of my paintings and drawings. Premium Matt inkjet technology is used to create the final print.

All my prints are of a limited edition of 10, and have a border on each side of 1.7cm.

Before shipping, the prints are hand-signed as well as the year of production, name and edition of the print being included on the front.

The prints are shipped in a protective archival envelope, rolled in a tube. It's best to lay the prints out flat after arrival.
